Retoy creates places where children learn about the environment, sustainability and children’s rights in a joyful way through toys and play. We build play spaces based on a strong environmental and rights perspective with a focus on play, exchange, borrowing and learning. Open places where children meet across societal boundaries in order to play their way to a better world.

Retoy is developed in close collaboration with players from the public, private and non-governmental sectors with the intention of spreading Retoy spaces to many kinds of environments.

The intention is to develop open places where all children feel welcome to explore and through play gain insight into their rights and the environment with the intention of giving them tools to affect change.

Retoy was created by the Play for Sustainability Foundation and is a not-for-profit enterprise.
