Retoy lab

Retoy Lab is a unique educational concept where children learn about complex sustainability concepts through play. In teacher-led workshops they explore the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the impact of consumption on the environment and our society. Retoy’s durable and flexible workshop space provide opportunities for practical implementation and experimentation, and promote in-group learning. Retoy Lab is be an integrated but independent part of Retoy, available to others that wish to use the pedagogical material and concepts.

We have developed two main Retoy Lab concepts:

• My rights – about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
• A toy’s life – about the environment, global relations, and sustainable consumption, using the toy as the main tool
